![]() I mean a spell that pulls matter from the Shadow Plane, uses it to duplicate the effects of other spells, and disguises it with illusory magic that makes it more potent than it otherwise would be if any chump fails that key disbelieve save. To briefly explain what I mean by a Shadow spell, I don't just mean a spell with "Shadow" in the name, nor even a spell with the "Shadow" subtype (Shadow Trap, for example, I do not consider one). I am personally most interested in seeing what people say about my planned second post, but for this one I'd like to explain why I love them and hopefully hear from some of your general opinions about the spells, and perhaps if you think there are any other good categories to discuss. There is quite a lot to cover when talking about them, so it may be sensible to break the discussion in to several parts my initial thoughts are to do so as follows: In this thread I'd like to discuss some of my favourite spells - the Shadow line, more specifically Shadow Evocation and Shadow Conjuration, which I consider the two most flexible and commonly useful. ![]()
